It is Monday and we have a critique tonight. Although my still life with oranges is incomplete I feel prepared...that's what these things are about anyway, commentary on ongoing works. Some of my weekend glazing formed small drops on the surface of the painting which I discovered today. I rubbed them out with ultrafine sandpaper. Looks fine now. Since I rubbed out the beginnings of painting number two I will be preparing to begin it anew this week.
