I painted in the background of the still life with oranges last night. Some subtle push-pull scumbling of assorted blue tones. If all goes well the painting should take its first glaze over the weekend. I set up a larger canvas to prep for my second painting, the neo-minimalist work based on a color exercise. I have to do some research before beginning. Most of the evening was spent setting up and photographing two of my still life paintings back in the photography room. Professor Clayton did this for me. Hopefully I will get them uploaded to the website soon.
