The Daily Rant

Well the large apple did not make it. I just hated it. Usually I would rub it out with thinner, but this is an oak panel and despite my best efforts it still retains a slight grain...so I painted over with white instead. My still life with oranges was dry enough to take another glazing. We have our second critique on Monday so it will be ready. I will be back to the sketchpad for a suitable composition for the second painting. I am leaning towards a nice pear with some grapes in green and crimson. This should look nice on a white tablecloth. I have exams this week in physics and organic chemistry so there won't be a whole lot of painting time this week outside of class, and Monday will be lost to the critique session, leaving only Wednesday.
